Many LCMS World Relief and Human Care programs in Eurasia focus on mothers and children – for example, we support crisis pregnancy centers in Kyrgyzstan and Russia, assist a day centers for children in Latvia and Poland. However, there are many people in Eurasia in need of a variety of different services, which LCMS World Relief and Human Care strives to help.

Eurasia consists of European and Asian continents and covers more than 10% of the Earth’s surface. About 4.61 billion people, 71% of the world’s population, lives in Eurasia.
Most of LCMS World Relief and Human Care’s work is done in 10 Eurasian countries, with great focus on former Soviet Union states.
