Project Read and Beyond

Children in the community struggle to read. They have become affected by their environment that includes gang activities, youth violence, drug sales and abuse, high unemployment and poverty. This project is limited to children in the immediate area or those who have been referred by county services. These children will be given the opportunity to learn and improve their reading, writing and math skills in a non-threatening environment. The goal is to motivate children to become loving, caring educated adults so they can shape the world in which they live.
